New York Highway Usage Tax Permits are affixable decals required for all carriers with a gross vehicle weight rating of 18,001 lbs or higher that intend to cross into the state of New York and utilize its highways. The HUT Permits runs in a series that spans on 3-year increments. The current 22^nd series will expire December 31, 2018.

All vehilces within a fleet that intend to travel through the state of New York that carry the same GVWR perameters will be required to carry seperate decals.
